The 3' 5' Continental Nylon Historic Flag, allegedly carried at the Battle of Bunker Hill by the colonists, features a red flag with a New England pine tree in the center of the white canton.

In colonial New England the pine tree was a common symbol representing liberty. Whether or not this flag truly appeared at Bunker Hill is still a mystery since there are no known accounts of its presence there other than things written in depositions, letters and/or diaries by American Minutemen and British soldiers.
